Sound The Sirens Interviews Señor Señorita!
This has been out for a week or so. Kinda silly that I’ve been pimping this everywhere else but here. But here you go.
Thanks to Billy over at STS for the press!

“Come Here” originally by Kath Bloom
Now ready to be added to that mixtape for your crush. People still make mixtapes right? Right.
Bit of a lag in all things Señor Señorita. Liz & Marco have been busy with their day jobs while working on new tracks when time permits. And new music is coming. Soon. How soon is soon? Very soon.
“Like A Star” originally by Corinne Bailey Rae.
Now available to be played outside your crush’s window, harana style. Or via boombox ala “Say Anything”. Your pick.
“Gatekeeper” originally by Feist.
Now playing in all kitsch, non-chain, neighborhood coffee shops. In my mind.
Señor Señorita have been working on tunes all the way since last year. But its two members, Marco Dela Torre and Liz Lanuzo, have only met each other about twice in real life. I know right?
“Not An Addict” originally by K’s Choice.
This one was bit more recent. Song selections tend to be like mild revelations where one goes “hey, I like [name of artist/band]” to which the other replies “OMG I have all their albums”. True story.
“Rebirth” originally by Hungry Young Poets.
I realize the description in the header says “Lo-Fi acoustic covers” but I was just getting to know garageband and the rest of my gear this point so the need to enhance the tune a bit hard to resist. Perhaps I’ll post the real stripped down version. Like as a bonus track. On our greatest hits record.
Hello. We are Señor Señorita. In a nutshell, we play acoustic covers of songs we fancy, record them, then post it here.
More songs to come along with other fun content. We promise. So stay tuned.
